Love to Dream 50/50 WARM Multi Stripe Transitional SwaddleRated 4/5 based on 2 reviews.
Love to Swaddle UP 50/50 WINTER WARM by Love to Dream.
Multi Coloured Stripe Stripe! - Warm 2.5 TOG
Preserve your precious sleep routine when it's time to transition your baby from swaddling to sleeping with arms free.
The Swaddle UP Winter Warm has built-in 100% bamboo filling to help keep your baby warm & comfortable.
The all-natural bamboo filling is naturally breathable, temperature-regulating, and anti-bacterial.
The genius design of the swaddle helps your baby to gradually & gently adjust to sleeping unswaddled.
Simply remove one zip-off wing, wait a few nights for your baby to adjust to the sensation of having one arm released, and then remove the second wing.
You can then use your 50/50 as a warm winter sleeping bag for baby.
WHY YOU SHOULD USE THE SWADDLE UP BY LOVE TO DREAM 50/50?
Wrapping babies, swaddling babies, cocooning babies... is a globally accepted & proven method for helping babies to settle and sleep.
Furthermore the medical community overwhelmingly agrees that babies should be wrapped with their arms up!
But there is a transition period for babies when moving from being snugly wrapped or swaddled, to a sleeping bag or under blankets.
This period can be quite unsettling for baby's & parents precious sleep routine.
The Swaddle Up by Love to Dream '50/50' is the no cry solution which helps your baby adjust to full blown freedom slowly.
No matter how you have been swaddling your baby either with arms up, down or across their chest the 50/50 will help your baby transition out of swaddling and into a sleeping bag.
WHY THE SWADDLE UP BY LOVE TO DREAM 50/50 IS SAFER*?
Usually parents transition their babies out of swaddling by using a conventional wrap, they leave one arm out and then later leave the second arm out.
There are potential dangers with using conventional wraps for transitioning as the blankets/bedding can unravel.
Unravelling or loosening can pose a tangling, suffocation and choking hazard to the baby.
Providing the parent has used the right size the Swaddle up by Love to Dream 50/50 has a snug fit and is ergonomically designed to fit the baby, and therefore reduces the risk of tangling, choking or suffocation.
HOW IS THE FIT OF THE SWADDLE UP BY LOVE TO DREAM 50/50 WINTER WARM DIFFERENT TO THE WRAP ME UP ORIGINAL?
The top half of the 50/50 is the same design as the ORIGINAL but the bottom half is slightly wider which helps the baby get used to not being so snugly wrapped.
The bottom half is reminiscent to a conventional sleeping bag.
As you transition the bub by taking one wing off at a time they slowly and smoothly end up in a Winter weight sleeping bag.
HOW DO I USE THE SWADDLE UP BY LOVE TO DREAM 50/50?
Transition your baby in three easy steps:
1. Use your 50/50 just like the ORIGINAL Swaddle Up by Love to Dream (2 wings attached)
2. When your baby is ready to transition remove one wing. One arm is free and one arm is still swaddled.
3. After about three weeks it's time to let the other arm loose! Simply remove the wing and now your baby has graduated to a warm winter weight sleeping bag!

The bestBy: Laura on 22 June 2017My son and I absolutely love it. Nice and cozy warm, easy to put on and allows my son to self settle. In the next month or two we'll try out the transitioning part
Practical and SafeBy: Jess on 8 June 2017I love how safe and practical this 50/50 winter weight swaddle is. No more worrying about our little one scurrying down under the blankets. And perfect for the transition to a sleeping bag. We have always used Love to Dream swaddles for our 3 babies (and our swaddles have also lasted through multiple nieces and nephews - they're well loved looking now!). My only slight negative with these winter ones is the sizing... The thick bamboo part isn't as stretchy as in the regular swaddles, and because of this I found the large (supposed to be for 8.5-11kg) is already a really snug fit on my 4 month old, who is 7.3kg, so he doesn't have much growing room. I ordered two and had already washed them both (silly of me not to try them on first), otherwise I'd have probably asked to exhange them for the x-large. Other than that, they look great, feel lovely and soft and do exactly what we need - keep our little guy warm.
