Woolbabe loves innovative fabrics!
Their Duvet sleeping bag is one of the warmest and snuggliest winter sleeping bags available!
It’s the only bag in the world which uses a quilted wool filling for additional warmth and temperature regulation, as most winter bags are filled with a synthetic polyester or cotton wadding.
It can be used from approximately 14 to 22 degrees by varying the clothing inside the bag. Ideal from autumn through till spring, and cooler nights in summer.
The outside layer is gorgeous 30% merino/70% soft cotton blend fabric. This beautifully soft fabric is knitted specially for woolbabe!
The bag is filled with a snug layer of 100% Australian wool filling, which gives amazing warmth and temperature regulating properties.
It has the feel of a duvet or thick blanket, and many babies seem to sleep much better in this heavier feeling of wool. The weight of the filling also means less wriggling for a lot of children.
The duvet woolbabe is lined with a lovely 100% cotton lining, which is soft and smooth against your baby’s skin.
The combination of wool and cotton offers the best of both worlds, providing a light cover for your child in warmer conditions. These conditions are often more difficult to gauge what your child should sleep in. The wool component still provides the qualities which react to changes in body temperatures, keeping baby at a constant body temperature, which encourages everyone to have a good nights sleep.
This Woolbabe can be used in your carseat or pram with a 5-point harness. It has a double-ended zip on the front and a travel slot in the back of the bag.

We love WoolbabeBy: Heidi on 13 May 2017We first bought Woolbabe when our son was 9 months old. We wanted a natural bag that contained wool. We bought two duvet weight bags; our son was a spewy/sweaty baby and the bags and bedlinen are washed frequently. Since then we've bought three more, five in total, and now have one in every size and every weight. We had held off buying this large size Woolbabe duvet weight bag as we thought he might be in a bed using bed linen by now. He's still in his cot and bedding caused too much fuss and broken sleep, so we're sticking with bags for now. Sleeping bags have been such a help for us. We started using them with our son while he was newborn. He's now 2 and three quarters and still loves them. Woolbabe bags are great and our first preference. They are what they say they are: warm/cosy in winter or cool/comfortable in summer. They wash well. They are a good fit and last a long time. None of ours have broken or damaged. In fact, our first two (duvet weight) bags are currently on loan to a friend for her 7 month old's first winter. They are expensive, and the duvet weight bags are thick and can take a while to dry. We don't have a dryer, so our solution is to either buy two and use the spare while the washed one dries, or wash the soiled one as early as possible and keep it in the sun all day. We've only got the one this season; I'm not sure what we're going to do if it gets soiled on a rainy, cool day :D Overall, we would recommend without hesitation.
